We didn't hit the ball well tonight not as well as we've been hitting it. They hit the ball. They hit a lot better than they did the last time. They came in well-prepared. I feel like they were coming in here to try to spoil our tournament for us. They did a good job.

If we can just get the defense behind her we haven't had defense all year. We had eight (errors) yesterday at Monterey. It's making the pitchers get extra outs and throw to extra batters. We're making rookie mistakes, and the people making them aren't rookies.

Defense let us down again. They've been like that all year. We've been averaging five errors a game, and the five errors hurt us. A lot of my players were sophomores. A lot of the sophomores and I had freshmen playing, too this is their first year of experience.
