broke field finally game passing playing pleased switched
I was real pleased with the way we were playing defensively, and we were passing it around pretty well too, so we switched the field on them well. We finally got the goal. That's what kind of broke the game open.
excellent games teams three
Teams can come in and play two or three games at excellent sites.
both club involved players programs
That's the key. It's getting the players involved in club soccer, for us and for them. And the more of their players and our players that play club soccer, it's only going to make both programs better.
game seem
That's the way this game has always gone. In the past, on paper, we seem like we're going to be the better team, (but) the game is always like a scrappy, dog-fight game. That's the way it's going to be.
coaches college good looking opportunity players three
Those college coaches are looking two and three years down the line. It's a good opportunity for them to see a lot of players at one time.
advantage mistakes
It's going to be back and forth, and one is going to take advantage of the other's mistakes.
close games last region tightly won
It won't be easy. I think the region will be tightly contested. We won a lot of close games last year.
advantage hope
It's a psychological advantage having already made the playoffs. I hope that's going to be an advantage. You still have to go out there and play the games.
advantage corner took
They took advantage of a corner kick. Got us back on our heels.
came knew solid team
They're a solid team and we knew they were. They came out on top, and we were just a little short.
last played unit
That unit has really played well the last 4-5 games.
care high past plays records rivalry time
Any time Brunswick High plays Glynn Academy, it's going to be a rivalry game. I don't care what the sport, I don't care what the past records are ... it doesn't matter.
bit city club coming concentration edge fact kids players soccer until
Right now, with St. Simons kids all coming to Glynn Academy, there's most of the soccer concentration over there. Until the city of Brunswick kind of catches up, we're going to have a little bit of an edge on them. The fact is we have more club players (from) St. Simons, which is more of a hot-bed of soccer than, say, Brunswick is.
