I saw him play as a freshman. I wasn't sure if he could play varsity. He didn't have the freshman year that he would have liked to have had. We let him play with us during that summer. He played with seniors last year and came off the bench. He got better and better as the season went on.

Kendall kept hitting big shots for us. They'd get something going and he'd hit a shot and break their run.

He is a really tough kid to defend because he can create his own shot.

He's more of a floor leader than a scorer this season, doing the things a good point guard should be doing.
