build determined great grow hockey time
To use a hockey analogy, for the first time in a long while, the NHL has momentum. I'm determined to see us build upon it and grow this great game,
anybody clear continue fall federation hockey ice last positive problem record testing tests throughout
I don't really think anybody thought there wouldn't be a positive test. But, I am told by the International Ice Hockey Federation that there were 150-to-200 tests last fall and this was the only positive. At this point, the record is clear that this is not a big problem throughout the league. But, we're going to continue with our testing plan.
opportunity player nhl
This is a tragedy for the players. Their careers are short and this is money and opportunity they'll never get back.
nhl wish avoided
This is a sad, regrettable day that all of us wish could have been avoided.
baseball team hockey
Our economics are not baseball's economics. Our game is not baseball's game. Our owners are not baseball's owners, with one or two exceptions. Our union is not baseball's union. hockey player games
When you take off that sweater, your jersey, after today's game, you will be the last player in the NHL to ever wear 99. You have always been and you will always be 'The Great One,' and there will never be another.
regret hockey people
We profoundly regret the suffering this has caused our fans, our business partners and the thousands of people who depend on our industry for their livelihoods. If you want to know how I feel, I'll summarize it in one word - terrible.
giving-up kids dont-give-up
My message to the kids and our fans is hockey's a great game. There's a lot of hockey being played at all levels. Get involved, do it. We will be back and we will be back better than ever and hopefully as soon as possible. Don't give up on the game. It's too good.
comfort degree four percent point
I know historically the projections we get at this point in the season, they could still be two, three, four percent off. And so what we did is, with some degree of comfort and intuitiveness, said this is where we think we're going to be.
constant damage found last ourselves result situation suggestion tremendous year
In many quarters, there was a constant suggestion over the last year that the situation we found ourselves in would result in tremendous damage and that's not the case,

In an increasingly dynamic sports and entertainment marketplace, new technology and entertainment vehicles have impacted the way sports leagues function and how we deliver the NHL experience to our business partners and fans,
