Lynden is a good basketball team. There is no question they were better than us. That certainly wasn't the best effort we had.

It was a little tougher than maybe it should've been. They made a couple of plays. Give them credit.
courageous darn group heart kids late lose needed plays special win
Pretty darn courageous effort. We made the plays late we needed to win the game. These are kids I want to be with every day This is a special group of kids and win or lose they are going to have a special place in my heart forever.
battle proud regrets
I'm still very proud of these kids. I will go to battle with them anytime. I have no regrets with these kids.
fashion game qualify shy state telling win
I don't shy away from telling you that if we didn't win this game and qualify for the state tournament, it would've been a disappointment for all of us. To get it done in this kind of fashion is very gratifying.

We kind of dared them to shoot the ball from the outside, and they made us pay.

I told the kids that if you think that's a fun environment, wait until next month. I can't wait until (playoff) season.

It's unbelievably high. All five starters are in the top 10 in the league in free-throw percentage.

It wasn't a beautiful game. We didn't execute great offensively or defensively, but we had guys make plays when they had to.

It's a quality opponent and an opportunity to play a future NBA player. It's another challenge for us.
