When I came to Denver, ... I wasn't much of a student and really didn't think I could finish with a degree. Then I look at Ted who has a 3.94 GPA and working for a biology degree towards medical school. The guy is up until 5 a.m. doing homework, then goes to class and practice, even helps me with school stuff. He makes all of us better students and players.

Right now we're sitting well in the league, but nationally, we're not sitting so well. Wherever we play, we have to establish it as our place. Right now, we can't afford any losses and we can't afford any mistakes because we're in desperation mode somewhat now.

I have no clue how this happens, but every time we have a game against them it's the weirdest game and it's a very high-scoring game. They are a very skilled team and we're glad to get out of that game. We're glad to get out with a win in such a tough game.

If you get caught up in it too much, you lose focus of what's going on. It's not bothering me. We're second in our league, and that's all we need to worry about, what we're doing in our league. Other stuff will come after that.
