I consider him one of those guys where if he's open, he's going to make it. Just look at his percentages. He makes around 40 percent (42 percent actually) of his shots from behind the arc. That's hot.

I'm really proud of how our kids competed under those circumstances. We just didn't finish.

In the past, the NIT just kind of put (the field) together. There was no flow. These changes are a step in the direction. To me this makes the NIT a much better tournament.

I knew how hard it was going to be in terms of how competitive it is and how hard it is to win on the road. Our kids have gone through it one time and are better at it. No question. We're more experienced and have (injured) Anthony Harris back and are playing better basketball.

The end of the first half is where I think we lost the game. We only had nine turnovers, but the turnovers we had were untimely.
