fair nice side
It was nice that I was able to keep it on the fair side of the pole.
finish looks nice positive
It looks a lot nicer, ... It's a nice number, but what are you going to do? We're not going to be disappointed and we're going to take a lot of positive things out of the season. It would have been nice to finish 81-81 though.
hit
In my head, I was figuring, 'I thought I hit it better than that,'
figured
I kind of figured something out at the plate,
forward guys italian looking played playing
I'm excited. I don't know what to expect, but it should be fun. I'm looking forward to playing with the different guys -- guys I've never played with before and some of these Italian guys.
I'm excited. I don't know what to expect, but it should be fun.
game
I had no problems. It was encouraging to get back into a game again.
crappy fell flat head kept next proud reminded season though
I'm very proud of myself because I could have just fell flat on myself and let it go. (I could have) said: 'You know what, crappy season and we'll get 'em next year,' but I didn't. I kept my head up, even though there are times I am reminded of what happened. I've been able to use that as motivation.
affect fact gives hopefully love playing role tomorrow
It's great. We love playing here and we love the fact that we're playing the role of spoiler. It gives us something to play for. Hopefully we can come out tomorrow and play hard, too, and really affect this race.
almost
They look up to us, almost in awe.
came guy mph saying seventh throwing
You go from a guy throwing knuckleballs to a guy throwing 95 mph -- and you've got those shadows, ... To a man, everyone that came back after the seventh inning was saying they can't see the ball. It was tough.
hard needed
I'd done the hard part first. I got the big hits, then I know I just needed a single, but it wasn't to be.
blow definitely team
But it would definitely be a big blow to the team if he is out for the whole season.
best doubt landed miss
No doubt in my mind. I had the best view, ... Obviously, it landed on the other side, but it was hooking. He's human, and they're going to miss calls. It's unfortunate, though, because I think that would've been a big run.
