fair love
Todo es justo en el amor y las carreras. All is fair in love and racing.
good job nascar natural themselves
It's the natural place to be. NASCAR did a pretty good job of negotiating themselves a good deal.
brother dream gate great mexico nascar pushed south succeed successful
It was my brother and I who pushed NASCAR for years to come to Mexico, so this is like a dream come true. This is a great, great facility. And Mexico is the gate to South America. You have to be successful in Mexico if you want to succeed in South America.
furnish hispanic nascar president
I want to be the president of the NASCAR Hispanic Society. I'll even do it for free. I'll furnish my own airplane, my own helicopter. They won't have to give me anything.
blown everybody points
It comes down to those 25 points. That's what it comes down to. You can say, 'Well we had blown engines.' But everybody else had blown engines. Everybody had wrecks. That's part of racing. The 25 points was not part of racing. The 25 points was robbery.
money
They don't make any money here. But they're making investments.
drivers factor fame hall successful
The most important factor was all the drivers are there. To make a hall of fame successful they need drivers to make appearances.
amount bit casey daytona deal earlier gone good great money paid pain pays shot struggles surprised teams thats time win won
I think were going to have a good day today, but we should have a good day every time we come to the racetrack. Thats what we get paid for. I wasnt surprised that Casey won the pole. I think if Sterling had gone out earlier he would have had a real shot to win the pole. Our teams have had some struggles this year. Some of the pain has been self-inflicted, and some of the things we just couldnt help. Itd be great to win here today. In a way, its just another race, but its a big deal to win Daytona and a big deal to win Indy. Really, its a big deal to win anywhere. It pays the same amount of points, but the money is a little bit different.
blood face ready saw seen sucked
I saw a face I'd never seen before. Like someone had sucked the blood out and he was ready to die.
amount gordon helmet knocks pulls sort switch tremendous
Robby Gordon has a tremendous amount of talent, but when he pulls the helmet over his head, he knocks some sort of switch that makes him an idiot.
If it wasn't for him, she'd be working at Hooters.
believe casey chase faith himself knew listen radio tried work year
I always knew Casey had the ability, I always had faith in him. I would listen to him on the radio and he never panicked, he always just tried to work his way through every situation. This is a big year for him and I believe he's going to put himself in the Chase for the championship.
coming later million sooner
If you've got $20 million coming in and $30 million going out, sooner or later your wife's going to say, 'Hey, what are you doing?'
car career difference dress drink drivers guys history light lights race racing switch talk turn work
In racing you've got to be pretty, and some of these guys you can't dress 'em up, Sponcers want someone "that can juke and jive. He has to go to into the boardroom and talk to the people. There are a lot of drivers out there today, their career is pretty much history because they have no marketability." You can't make 'em pretty. You can't drink 'em pretty, either. The difference between a 1 and a 10 is a light switch away, well that doesn't work with a race car driver. You can't turn the lights out.
