blue game good hoping inspire memories monster moving top
Got a lot of good memories from this place. I'm hoping the Blue Monster will inspire me; kind of get my game moving into top gear.
based close full hit lie primary rough shot standard
For the most part, when you play a full shot from the primary rough at your course, you're gauging how close to a standard shot you can hit based on your lie in the grass.
almost cannot leg win
I cannot complain. After all the hassle I had with the leg to come back ... and to almost win is fine.
ball came cannot complain confidence game given happy hitting knee practice sitting time
I cannot complain about the way I came back. I could be sitting here without any confidence now, hitting the ball all over the place. But the knee has been pretty good, and it's given me time to practice and get my game back in shape. So I'm happy where I am right now.
aim great low normally score wait win wins
This is a great win as well, ... Normally when you aim at a low score you don't do it. But here I did - and with two wins under my belt, now I can't wait to get to America.
game good plan work worked
All in all, it was a good day's work and my game plan really worked out well,
becoming bit excitement fun hardest
All in all, you know, it's very tough. Where it used to be kind of the most fun of all the majors, it's becoming the hardest one now. So it's going to take a bit of the excitement away, definitely.
amazing crowd effect open
You don't have to be long off the tee, and we know the amazing effect an Open crowd can have if you're on your game and how they can lift you.
course decent golf good hope rest score scoreboard
You can't really look at the rest of the field. You have to play the golf course and play your score and try and put something decent on the scoreboard and hope that it is good enough.
name
You can put his name up there as a contender.
ball bit catch fat hit hitting key plenty
The key is to hit the ball first, then the sand. Even if you catch it a bit thin, you'll still get plenty of run. Hitting it fat is what you want to avoid.
shoot sneak weekend
If I can sneak something in the 60s over the weekend it will be very interesting. At least I know you don't have to go out and try to shoot something like 65 to try to win.
breaks five four golf july june needed next somewhere weeks
I don't take too many long breaks through the season. My next long break will probably be somewhere in June or July when I have two weeks off. For the next four or five months, it's a lot of golf with a week off here and there and a lot of traveling. So I needed to do that just to recharge.
chances few heat quite toll took
The heat kind of took its toll at the end. It was quite muggy and I had a few more chances on the back nine.
