miracle people win
It's going to be disappointing if we don't win it because we battled all this way. I don't know if people thought we could win it, but we thought we could win it. Obviously, this is a miracle we're going to have to be going for right now.
allow best geared hands player stay
It's geared to being the best player I can be. I need to stay back and allow my hands to work.
easy everybody forget time
It's easy to let this one go. We've been through a lot. It's time to forget about everybody else and look forward.
looking mean mentally motions numbers pitches plate spring swing until
It's how I feel at the plate and what pitches I'm taking. I'm looking at what pitches I don't swing at. The numbers in spring don't mean anything. I'm not even mentally into it. I'm just going through the motions until April.
boston came chance fighting last miracle until year
It's a miracle we're going after for now. You never know. It was a miracle last year (in the playoffs) when Boston came back on New York. We'll keep fighting until they tell us there's no chance to make it.
fact great offensive
It's a fact we don't have that great of an offensive team.
nice night opening shake
It's a nice way to start. Opening Night was probably more disheartening for the fans, but we were able to shake it off.
shake
(The opener) was probably more disappointing for the fans. We were able to shake it off.
eighth good ninth seventh strength
We've always had good (closers) in the ninth inning. But the seventh and eighth has been a real strength for us this year.
billy chance knew realistic signed since won year
We've won every year since I've been here, but now I think we have a realistic chance to do some big things. When I signed here, I knew Billy would do what it would take to win.
arm caught couple guess hard kennedy pitchers seen stuck wrong
It didn't look like Kendall stuck his arm out there. It was kind of weird. I guess he just caught Kendall on the wrong moment. That's not hard to do. I think (Lackey) said something to him in Oakland before. I know he's done it before. I've seen a couple pitchers do it. I think that's why him and (Joe) Kennedy got in a fight. Same thing.
balls threw throw
I threw probably 100 balls. That's when it started to go downhill. I I got nervous. What if I can never throw the same again?
fighting miracle obviously
We still have a fighting chance. It's going to be disappointing if we don't win. Obviously this is a miracle we have to go for, but anything can happen.
bay tampa
(Washington) would be just as hands-on, especially if he got the Tampa Bay job,
