answer bottle catch good lightning prove royals
I don't know how to answer that. Even if you have two good years, you've got to do a third. If you have three, you have to do it four. I've got to prove I can do it again, that the Royals did not catch lightning in a bottle or that it was a fluke. I don't think so, but there will always be questions.
hits
We got some hits off him early. I wouldn't say he was a hittable pitcher. He didn't look ordinary.
value
I value it. You never take it for granted.
catch chance fly knew line
That was no fly ball, that was a line drive, ... I knew I had no chance to catch that ball. Did you think I was going to catch it?
call caught hard locking
I wouldn't call it spasms, just a little stiffness in there. I'm not locking up or anything like that. I've been working so hard it kind of caught up with me. It is nothing serious. It is so much better than it was yesterday.

I didn't hear about it until this morning. I'm going to call him this afternoon. I hope he's OK.
case extra goal lose lost prepared sleep winning worked
If I lost my case, I wasn't going to lose any sleep over it. Winning it worked out for me. I've got a little extra money. My goal is not winning the arbitration case but to be prepared for this season.
ball came kept line low opposed
I came in after it like it was a low line drive, as opposed to a ball that kept carrying.
chip last thinking wait
I'm not going to say I have a chip on my shoulder. I'm not even thinking about last year. I can't wait to get it (2006) started.
ball catching hard hitting plan threw
You can't plan on hitting the ball soft. He threw it soft, so I hit it soft. They were catching the hard ones anyway.
call easier
I'd never call it a laugher but it's a lot easier on the pitchers,
