Every game he just makes so many outstanding plays for us. Not only with his runs, but with his pass receiving. He?s our work horse and we are going to keep feeding him.
That was not the way I wanted to come out and play. It was disappointing, especially the way the offense played this season. We couldn't hit any big plays or establish anything to build on. They did a good job, but I still didn't protect the ball, and that's what it comes down to in big games.
It changed the game right there. He always seems to make the big plays when we need them.
Peyton and I aren't competitive with each other. We root for each other to do well. Last year was the first time we've ever been in the same league and playing at the same time. I'm always glad for him when he plays well and they're winning.
We had a chance to do it, but obviously, we didn't. We've got another chance next week, and hopefully, we'll do a better performance.
My arm feels fine. You still have to be aggressive, but if something's ugly and not there, you can't force it in.
Nobody had many catches. There's no doubt, we gotta get him some catches.
I'm old school. I'm locked into my own little circle. If you cross the line, you're going to get bit. They'll always know where I'm coming from and once we hit the floor, there's no doubt.
Strike one is a big, big pitch-you can do a lot after you get strike one, no matter how you get it.
Hey, hitting is hard-if you make good pitches that aren't elevated in the zone, you're going to have success.
My goal is to get outs as soon as I can. Strikeouts aren't that big a deal to me.
My thing is to be ready to pitch every five days and give my team a chance to win.
It's all about having fun. Play hard and fair, don't hurt anybody. Feel good about what you're doing and how you're doing it.
I try to stay level-headed and it's always the way I've been. Sometimes your personality out in the real world, you want to take that into your sport because that's where you feel comfortable. You never want to try to do something that's not you or you don't feel comfortable doing. That's where you get in trouble. It's the only way I've played sports and done things. I'm low-key, but I'm very competitive and hate to lose.
