To win is great, but we could have easily let it go the other way. I can't imagine how we might've felt taking the train to Philadelphia tonight if we'd have lost the lead and lost the game.
We have a chance to do something special for Chicago and we are not taking that for granted.
Yeah, I definitely sensed that. And that's why I was so adamant about getting back and trying to help the team as much as possible. I realize I don't have to score to help them, my presence alone, just me being so big and taking up space helps them out a lot.
We weren't really making a lot of shots. They weren't really making a lot of shots. I can imagine how it was for the fans, but for us to be the team that was on top, it was a great night for us.
We weren't making shots and they weren't making shots, so I couldn't imagine how it was for a fan, ... For us to beat a team that was on top, it was a great win.
It would have been nice to get this win for both him and for Herb. But for whatever reason we just didn't have it tonight - like a lot of other nights.
I understand the boos. It was one of the toughest things I had to do leaving here. I am also very excited about where I am now.
people can start looking at me as a basketball player and not a patient.
Every time I got the ball I tried to make something happen.
Sometimes they will look away from me. When I do get the ball, I try to make something happen so they don't have an excuse not to throw me the ball.
Sometimes it's hard to tell, but I feel like I'm definitely getting better. I'm learning more than I've ever learned. Now it's just a matter of time before I can incorporate that into what I'm doing on the court.
There's one guy who isn't sure, ... I can live with that because of what the other doctors say.
Those are some of the things we weren't doing when we were losing.
When I saw Burke come in, I definitely felt like things were (about) to turn around for me a little bit. I'm sure he's a great player and everything but I think the refs let Kurt Thomas get away with a little more than Burke can.
