execution practice tempo
The tempo wasn't there, the execution wasn't there, so I told them to come back later, ... If they don't practice the way I want them to practice, that's it. We're done.
battle case expect happens needed offense position ready second speed team tried turn ways
We tried to turn it into a position to see if we can get our second team ready in case something happens to Brent. We had a battle there and we still have a long ways to go. The speed of our offense wasn't what we needed and what we expect to have with Brent.
bonds build handle individual strong
I've never said that (to a prospect). We handle those things on an individual basis. That's just the way I feel. I feel strong in the bonds we build during recruiting.
bringing fans miss passion program understand
I understand the passion that the fans have for Ole Miss football, and I can understand their impatience. I just want them to know we are bringing this program along, and we are going to get there.
care families family obviously sensitive
We have a lot of families in Gulfport (Miss.) and Biloxi (Miss.) and obviously we have a lot of family down in New Orleans. We're really sensitive to that. With our program, family comes first and we're going to take care of these young men.

We've let Alan Abrams back on the team. There will be certain circumstances he must follow.
cause happen pick run
That will never happen in my program. I will never do that. Too many things can happen. You can cause a fumble and pick it up and run for a touchdown.

We're building our program here from the ground up.
best chart continue guys justin opportunity sparks week
Justin Sparks had an opportunity to show us what he could do, but he's been really inconsistent. We will continue through the week with the guys that we have, chart them and see who does the best job, then play that guy.
consistent continue needed pressure sack
We needed to get pressure on the quarterback, and his sack was a big play. We need him to be more consistent and continue to play like he was at the end.
close eye guys houston moving northern
Guys are moving to Memphis, Houston or northern Louisiana. We are going to keep a close eye on where they go.
half improve needed others positions
We need as many (freshmen) that are able to play. Realistically, we're probably going to play at least half of that class. Some positions we needed to get better at. Others we needed to improve our depth.
gained guys
When you play football, those things are going to happen. But we have some guys who have gained some experience, so we'll be fine.
