Edward Joseph Michaelswas an American football guard in the National Football Leaguefor the Chicago Bears, the Washington Redskins, and the Philadelphia Eagles. Michaels also played on the "Steagles", a merged team consisting of the Eagles and Pittsburgh Steelers in 1943. The team was the result of a league-wide manning shortage brought on by World War II. I haven't thought about doing anything else other than being the head football coach at Valley West. If some school district was interested in talking, or something in that nature, or a program wanted to consider me coming in as an assistant, if it was the right situation then yeah.

I've been trying to be as positive as I can. The kids have been working really hard and we've had a good turnout.

I can tell you this much, no school board member ever told me I had to get rid of any coaches. That's being honest with you. Nobody said you should get rid of anybody. I evaluated the situation and made some personnel changes.
