The story of the night was Matt. He had four 3-pointers in the first half. It was good to see him score. He's played well, he just hasn't scored.

That was the best we shot in the first half in a long time. They went to a zone and we got them out of it.

I believe we'll be a number one seed, but I have to check on that. I'm excited. It's a different season now, you lose, you go home. We'll take the next couple days to be prepared and work on the things we have to touch up and hopefully get after whoever we play.

We had a full lineup, picked them up full court, put pressure on their guards and got a lot of easy baskets early on. I think we held them to under double digits for the majority of the half.
effort forth kids played ready respond schedule tough year
We've been real pleased. They've been able to respond to some different adversities. We had a tough schedule this year, we've played well in some tough games, we've come ready to play. I can't say enough about the effort the kids have put forth all year long.
beat best couple good kids teams top
A couple kids were respectable. They're one of the top teams in the league. If we play our best we still don't necessarily beat them. No one did exceptionally well. It wasn't good enough today.

It really gave us a boost. I've gotta give our sixth man a big round of applause, because the fans have been there and the students have been there all year supporting us. When the momentum swung, they really helped carry us through.
ball created easier fact level passed players raised stuff
The fact that he made the players around him better. He was very unselfish, passed the ball and raised the level of play of his teammates. He just made things easier offensively. Defenses keyed on him and he created stuff for other people.
adjusted floor gives good gym kids normal perspective tough
That's a tough gym sometimes to play in. It gives you a different perspective from the floor than a normal gym. We did a pretty good job, the kids adjusted pretty well.
