Edward Richard DeChellisis an American college basketball coach and current head men's basketball coach at the United States Naval Academy. Previously he was the head coach at Penn State from 2003-2011 and at East Tennessee State from 1996-2003. At Penn State, DeChellis led the Nittany Lions to an NIT Title in 2009 and a NCAA Tournament berth in 2011. We just needed to get closer to him. He had uncontested shots in the first half, and he's too good a player to do that.

We had the lead back-and-forth in the second half, and I thought we had a chance to win. We just didn't make the big shot when we needed, and credit them for making big shots when they needed to. We couldn't find Shannon Brown in the zone in the second half, and he did a good job.

We challenged their shooters well, (freshman guard Bobby) Riddell hit a couple at the end, but I think we did a good job of challenging their jump shooters.

We really wanted to get to the free-throw line, that was one of our goals. We thought we could take them off the dribble, especially Geary, and I thought we did a pretty good job of that.

We were in pretty good shape at that point. But they got in a rhythm and have the experience over us. Three of those guys are fifth-year seniors. We are not that. They've got some experienced guys who stepped up and made some big plays. They just shot over us and made some big baskets.
