hurt team want
I'm still on the edge. It's just that I don't want to hurt the team by going over that edge. I've learned not to be as maniacal as I used to be.
winning losing accepting
I simply don't accept losing well. I just feel whatever it takes to win, you have to do it.
goalies want
I'm not a pretty goalie and I don't ever want to be called one, to tell you the truth.
dream hard-work hockey
I always wanted to play professional hockey. Every hockey player's dream, no matter at what level or what age, is to play professionally. At first you don't know what it's all about, but you have that dream and you always work hard toward it. The older you get, the more you start dedicating yourself to the game.
night winning years
I'm trying to be among the elite night after night, year after year. I just want to be the best ... and I love winning.
hockey way tough
There's an old saying that when it gets tough the tough get going. You have to work your way through these things.
accepting has-beens
I'm definitely one of the best. Always have been; always will be. I won't accept anything less.
people motivated
When people count me out, that gets me motivated.
goal tough
There is more goal scoring. For the big picture, they got what they wanted, but for the goalies, it is tough luck.
best dwell entire forget mistakes per
Today's a new day and I try to forget (games like that) right away. You can't dwell on mistakes and the things go wrong. You just have to go back in there, and do your best and give 110 per cent, and that's what I've done my entire career.
accept both causes guy role undermines
When one guy undermines the other, it only causes trouble, and the team isn't successful. It's very important for both of us to accept our role and help the team. One guy can get hot, and if that's Alex, I'll support him and help any way I can.
feeling good healthy hopefully rink stay
As long as I can stay healthy and keep doing that, hopefully I'll keep playing. You want to come to the rink feeling good about yourself.
rule
I thought about it afterwards. It's frustrating. It's a new rule that you have to get used to it.
appreciate great
He's been great with me. I really appreciate that.
