games playing playoffs scoring win
The scoring will come. The most important part of the playoffs is your defense. We are playing well on defense. You win games on defense.
broke guys knew played playoffs skeptical took
Everything is just fine. I'm comfortable. When I first broke it, I told everyone, 'When the playoffs come, I'll be ready.' A lot of guys were skeptical because I haven't played in a while. But I knew what it took to be ready.
coming feels player training
It feels great. I feel like I'm coming into training camp. I feel like I'm the freshest player going into the playoffs, so I'm going to use it to my advantage.
gaining improving strength
I'm improving every day, gaining more strength in my hand, more flexibility.
run
Usually we make a run. (Friday night), the run just wasn't in us.
came flat perfect tough
We came out flat in the first two games, and it's tough to play perfect to get back into the game.
forward friend good man worry
He's a good friend of mine. I look forward to him being on our team. . . . I can't worry about what another man does off the court.
difference great holding offensive run shot team today
We were holding them to one shot defensively there in the fourth. They're a great offensive rebounding team and we were able to run today and that was the difference in the game.
goes life shooting
Basically, you're shooting (to return) for the playoffs. It's disappointing, but life goes on. I'll be all right.
effort quarter third
When you lose, it's disappointing. The effort we put out in the third quarter was horrible.
bad half hard played points win
When you give up 69 points in the first half it's hard to win anything. We played bad basketball.
great shoot tonight victory
Tonight we showed that you don't have to shoot great to still get the victory. As long as you do all the other things on the court, you can be OK.
fewer half hit money relaxed second struggled
It's money time. There are fewer possessions and I haven't done anything for two weeks. I struggled in the first half because I was a little overaggressive. I relaxed in the second half and was able to hit some shots.
It's going to take an adjustment. But I think I'll be OK.
