He's a guy I looked up to and went to when I didn't understand something. Eddie told me the way. When he left, I called and thanked him for showing me the way, showing me the ropes.
He's a lot stronger. Last year he lost weight and I think that took a toll on him at the end of the year because he didn't have the strength to fall back on.
He's got, like, two suits, ... and they're terrible. I just keep it real with him.
He's got his legs back and he's finishing his plays. He's more active getting deep and we're looking for him and finding him.
His will is unbelievable. You can't play better defense than Gary (Payton) had on him. He can just raise up and jump over you and shoot. You have to tip your hat to a guy like that.
He's getting in better shape. When a big guy like him is out for 18 games, it's like taking what he did in training camp and what he did in the summer and throwing it out the window. He's getting more active on both sides of the floor. He's getting deep and we're finding him now. He's going up strong and finishing.
He wasn't missing and he was looking good. He had that confident look. His eyes were real big and when that happens, you know he's confident.
He was starting to turn red with the tape over his mouth. I was starting to get a little worried about him.
I always do it (watch film). Even when I have good games, I always try to watch and see the things I did good and the things I did bad and try to learn from a way a team is playing me and different things like that.
Guys know what they need to do, but at the same time, I think they're still trying to understand what coach Riley wants them to do.
This was a good one for me as far as my consistency goes because that's a good team that doesn't beat itself. It was just a matter of pulling the trigger and making my shots.
I was like, 'Hey, Carmelo Anthony should be playing too.' . . . I think I could have helped.
I was in the right place at the right time to get the bucket.
Just the right place at the right time. Some nights are like that. I was able to get in a couple passing lanes and get some picks, but for the most part, it was just being in the right place at the right time.
