aside create effect focus great hopefully personally playoff team
Right now you have to put the satisfaction aside and focus on the playoff race. For me personally it's great, but for the team it's great that we were able to get this win. Hopefully this will create a snowball effect and we can keep on winning.
draining great
This is just great for the team. Emotionally, it was a very draining game.
fans great
At the end of the day, the fans know that somebody's going to be winning. It's great for the fans, and they were into it tonight.
chance create great guys job played smart tried
We did a great job defensively. We played a smart game. We didn't try to create things that weren't there. I just tried to give our guys a chance to win.
easy great move stay
He made a great move and I was just able to stay with him. It made up for the easy one I let in the other night.
easy great kept move stay turn
He made a great move and I was able to stay with him. I kept it on my blocker and was able to turn it away to make up for an easy one the other night.
anybody block fault guys hard hockey lucky shots stick trying win
Unfortunately, it went off a stick and went the other way on me. You can't fault anybody on it. Guys are trying hard to block shots and get in lanes and do the little things that win hockey games. Unfortunately, they get a lucky bounce.
chance control focus guys puck stopping trying
I was just trying to focus on the puck and give our guys a chance to win. You have to control the things you can control and for me, that's stopping the puck.
block guys starting
I'm starting to get used to it. Starting to see what guys are doing and how they block shots, so I know where to look when they're going to do it.
played tight
We have been tight with our sticks. Tonight, we played like we know we can.
difference played saves
We played pretty well, but their goaltender made some big saves and he was the difference tonight.
played team
We played well as a team and that's all that matters.
break ready
We get a little break here and can be ready for Tuesday's game.
bounce fault guys lucky
Unfortunately, they got a lucky bounce at the end of the game. You can't fault our guys at all.
