The crime was not reported until Tuesday when the victim/girlfriend was able to escape her attacker and seek medical treatment. The victim was shot in two fingers on her left hand as she lay in bed. The bullet hit her hand, which was by her head at the time.

We were investigating that yesterday afternoon when a 19-year-old white female came in - she was one of the witnesses - and basically said our suspect, Michael Evans, shot (Price) and wiped the gun clean. The witness came forward on her own after being threatened by the suspect.

Price and Evans lived in the same place. They were described as friends. At this point, we don't know why he shot his roommate.

Sometimes the protein builds up and the hoof grows out if they do not have enough exercise. That can be terribly painful for the horse, but this was nowhere near the point where it would go to animal abuse. If anything, the four horses were overweight.
