assure conference football game good win wrong
We're going into another conference game and we just need to get a win right now. There's nothing wrong with us that a win won't cure, I assure you that. And we're doing some good things at times, we're just not doing them consistently enough. But I still think we have a very good football team.
anybody beat cause chance coach either everybody funny game good harder league parity seems sure surprises teams
Nothing surprises me in this league right now. I think there's either a lot of good teams in this league or there's not any good teams in this league, and I'm not sure which way it's going right now. But it seems like there's so much parity that anybody can beat anybody. It's a funny game in this league, everybody is so even. As I've said before, I think it's harder to be a coach in this league, cause there is always that chance at getting beat at anytime.
ability ball came challenges game gave good great played rise run
The game came down to turnovers and their ability to run the ball on us. We did some really good things on offense. We're just still too young offensively to be where we want to be. We just couldn't rise up to the challenges that OU gave to us today. They played a great game.
stop
Santa's not going to stop. We're not going to stop either.
gone hoping third year
This was the third year we've gone and I'm hoping to go again.
field football great potential smart unlimited
Darren is very smart and a great athlete. He can do a lot of things on the football field and has unlimited potential at quarterback.
blitz brings contain dynamic hard hurt kid move people problems run throw
That kid is remarkable. He's going to give people fits. I really think he is a dynamic quarterback. He can throw really well on the run, and that's their game. They move him around to where he can run or throw. He brings a lot of problems to the table. If you blitz him and you don't get there, he's going to take off and he's going to hurt you. It's hard to play man-coverage on him because there's no one to contain him.
gone great opportunity success wish
It's such a great opportunity for the kids. You know it's a success when they say they wish they would have gone sooner.
awesome half hour nasa teams
It was really an awesome experience. After an hour and a half with NASA engineers, the teams went into competition, and they had very little sleep.
paying sad
We want this thing killed. This is a joke, and the sad thing is, we're paying for it.
comfort four kids proposals stepped teams time treated zone
They treated the teams just like they were engineering companies. The kids stepped out of their comfort zone big time for those presentations. All four proposals were awesome.
faced fits football michigan offensive state team ten
Defensively, we didn't play as well as we'd like to. But we were faced with an outstanding Michigan State offensive football team that everyone in the Big Ten will have fits with also.
cool engineers high nasa opportunity people worked
I think this is such a cool opportunity for our kids. How many people are able to say they worked with NASA engineers while they were still in high school?
ball care changed coach couple drake easier faster gets given great huge last number paid protect rhythm rid spring taken worked
He completely changed his fundamentals of punting. He was always a three-step punter, and in the spring changed to being a two-step punter. Which has done a couple of things, number one, he's easier to protect because he gets rid of the ball faster and number two, it's given him a much better rhythm and (the late) coach (Mike) Drake actually worked with him a lot last spring to get that taken care of for us. It's paid off huge because he's had a great year.
