As patient as we were early, we got into a streak when we were playing like we were behind. Then you toss in a few defensive breakdowns, and all of the sudden, we have ourselves a ballgame.

That's what we've been working on. I was so proud of how we were patient.

Our kids did everything we asked of them, but we couldn't get that ball to go in the basket.
challenge demands practice
We make a lot of demands on them in practice about rebounding. They were up for the challenge tonight.
aware causes gets hit kid lost opens quick
Right off the bat, they jumped on us really quick and hit some perimeter shots. Barrett got open, and we're aware of how well she shoots. A kid like that gets lost sometimes and causes problems, and that opens it up for everything else.

The first half was a little bit of a disappointment; they really took it to us. They were giving us shots inside, but we didn't convert and that really hurt us.
accept everybody kids playing roles starting
The kids are starting to accept their roles and we're playing as a team. Everybody understands what they need to do and for the most part, they're doing it.
