It will be nice next week when we get T.O. back. Hopefully we'll have him. I'm looking for him to get out on the field and we can be together.
When I'm on the field, my main focus is to make as many plays as possible.
Patience and rest are key. Knowing how your body feels. You're the only person that knows how your body feels. The way of going about it is expressing it to your trainers and your coaches so you won't damage anything else.
But if you're coming off ACL surgery, you don't need to be having a press conference at OTAs. Every week? Really? It becomes a circus, a sideshow. It takes away from the focus of what those sessions are supposed to be about: the team.
The Jets tried this whole garbage with Tim Tebow and Mark Sanchez and it got them nowhere,
There's no relief, really, for me. I have relief after the Super Bowl. I set a goal to win the Super Bowl and that's where I'm going with it.
I feel I rise to the occasion when the pressure's on my shoulders.
Know why I smile so much out there? It's because I'm having so much fun.
It would be great to not have any injuries and just go out and play football and have fun ... But in life there are adversities, and it all just depends on how you overcome them.
If you don't feel you're the best, then you shouldn't be doing your job. No one else cares if you don't care about yourself.
This is a time to get better and we try to use this preseason as kind of a stepping stone to take short steps to be ready by the time the season comes around.
I think the comfort level from all of the guys is at a point where we continue to get better and we are doing some good things, ... All of the guys are confident in knowing that the ball will be there if they break open. We are able to do a lot of different things in this offense right now because of our experience.
I think we're showing a progression. The offense is coming along. With the addition of having T.O. out there, we were able to do a little bit more, and it makes things exciting right now.
Just trying to make a play, ... I was able to step up in the pocket, buy time and Reggie did an excellent job getting in the end zone.
