There are a lot of wonderful candidates out there, and to be selected shocked me. It caught me off guard. It shows that this award is more than just being a great athlete. It shows you have to work hard in the classroom.
record state
I'm going for a state title. The record is just a bonus.
bumps time year
I'm OK. This time of year everyone has some bumps and bruises.
