I came out very strongly that we want a border, and the Mexican government probably convinced him that Donald Trump was saying not nice things about the border. And I think it worked out well. I don't think it was a positive, though. I think it was probably a neutral. I don't think it was negative, but it could have been a tremendous negative.
What matters is where you want to go. Focus in the right direction!
We also have to be honest about the fact that not everyone who seeks to join our country will be able to successfully assimilate. Sometimes it's just not going to work out.
I have made the tough decisions, always with an eye toward the bottom line. Perhaps it's time America was run like a business.
When you had the World Trade Center go, people were put into planes that were friends, family, girlfriends, and they were put into planes and they were sent back, for the most part, to Saudi Arabia. Learn to manage your mind. Do not let a situation lure you into thinking negatively. Sometimes you will fail but you'll learn for the next time. Every time a negative thought comes at you ZAP IT! Replace it with positive thoughts. That takes energy but the result will be stamina, positive stamina, the necessary ingredient for success.
Obamacare is destroying America.
My total focus was on building up our military, building up our strength, building up our borders, making sure that China, Japan, Mexico, both at the border and in trade, no longer takes advantage of our country.

I've known people who had fantastic ideas, but who couldn't get the idea off the ground because they approached everything weakly. They thought that their ideas would somehow take off by themselves, or that just coming up with an idea was enough. Let me tell you something - it's not enough. It will never be enough. You have to put the idea into action. If you don't have the motivation and the enthusiasm, your great idea will simply sit on top of your desk or inside your head and go nowhere.
