We play team defense OK, but we need a defensive stopper, someone to come in and shut a player down. Luke played really hard today, and did some nice things defensively. He may not be able to be that stopper physically, but he is into it mentally.

I had teams in Tennessee that averaged 34-35 wins a season and (WSU) is comparable. They're really talented. They really have a nice team.

Our seniors won a lot of games during their careers at Northern. Losing your final game in the region championship one game away from the Elite Eight is a tough place to go out.

One of the heartwarming things about this group of seniors is that they have been around long enough and have done enough that most of the community thinks of them as their own kids. They want to come and watch them play. They identify with them and enjoy seeing them play as hard as they do.
