Our passing was abysmal. Passing is a caring skill. If you care to put the pass on the guy's tape, you can make it. I haven't played a game in 30 years and I know I can do it. I do it in practice every day.

He was the only player they wanted. We were not in a very good bargaining position.

He improved as much as anybody in our lineup from the beginning of the season.

We talked about the things we should have done better and the players made the corrections today.

Their 13 were much better than our 16 because they played as a team. We had a whole bunch of individuals.

He's outstanding and pretty sharp against us. They surround him with an experienced defense that's tough to crack.

I didn't slam it. I simply closed it. It's a new building, sometimes things go wrong.

He's a huge loss for us. One of our veterans. One of our captains. And the fact that he stayed and played (Friday) ... I just have great respect for him.

I'm pursuing it, because we are responsible for it. But we definitely aren't going anywhere remotely close to $2,000. I'm telling you. If they want to hose us, it would be fifty bucks.

The encouraging thing is, OK, guess what, this is the way we can play against one of the best teams in the league. And it's frustrating because we don't play like this more often.
both difference excellent games harder worked
The difference in these games was Moreland, who was just spectacular. He's an excellent goalie. And, frankly, Stockton worked harder than we did in both games. That's why they won.
chance contribute everybody extra guys roles succeed
Sometimes you just have to find that extra gear, that extra level. Even with the guys we're missing, having everybody contribute in their roles will give us a chance to succeed any night.
