assume gained plan player prepare scenario sudden
We always prepare for the worst. You can't assume somebody's going to be there, then all of a sudden he's not. You plan for this and for that. We'll prepare for the worst-case scenario and if it doesn't go that way, then we've gained a player or two.
confidence explosive gaining gets happening legs line patience powerful pulling running speed understanding within
He's gaining confidence and a better understanding in what's happening within the running game. How to read the blocks, a little more patience getting to the line of scrimmage and more explosive when he gets there. ... Pulling through tackles with powerful legs and speed around the corner.
behind downs euphoric experience gain game kinds limit playing presents proves rushing team totally week
I don't think one game proves anything other than we're going in the right direction. It's a very euphoric experience to play well and limit a team to no first downs rushing and those kinds of things. But that's behind us. We're playing a totally different kind of team this week that presents different kinds of problems.... Doing it once in a while isn't the way you gain credibility. You have to do it often.
bailey beat champ hard last none players three year
I know this -- none of our players said Champ Bailey didn't play hard when we beat them by three touchdowns last year out here.
few sure
It's something he's had before. I'm sure he'll be out a few days.
early games lost pay start stuff takes win winning
It's so early in the season. They're going to win some games like they lost tonight, and once they start winning those, they'll probably win some more. All the stuff they've done will pay off for them; sometimes it just takes a little time.
build cut cutting everybody few good job line offense offensive problem reaching running scheme shove underneath zone
The big problem with them is their offensive line and their zone scheme. They do an awfully good job with it. Everybody has a few zone scheme running plays. We do. But they build their offense on that. They get you stretched, reaching out, and then they shove you out and cut right back underneath you. They do a good job of cutting the linebackers off.
bolt credit guys hit lightning line side wearing
They hit him too many times, ... and that's a credit to those guys over on the other side of the line of scrimmage wearing that lightning bolt on their helmet. We just have to get better.
bolt credit field guys hit lightning side wearing
They hit (Green) too many times, and that's a credit to the guys on the other side of the field wearing that lightning bolt on their helmet.
situation wins
They just get him in a one-on-one situation and he wins that battle.
coaches job lose maybe players
I'm disappointed in myself. The coaches lost, too. When you come out and lose like that, the coaches got beat, and the players got beat. It's not just the players. Maybe we have to do a better job when we get up here.
plans send
I never had any plans to send him out of here,
afternoon heard trying
I'm very, very concerned. I've been trying all afternoon to get information. I haven't heard from anybody.
far game humming normally patient persistent running tough
Their running game can be tough to stop. So far they haven't been humming like it normally is, and you just have to keep them in that mode. They're very patient and persistent and keep doing it.
