I'm looking forward to playing with those guys, ... Carlos Boozer, Andrei Kirilenko are definitely two great players in this league and I definitely feel they'll enjoy playing with me. I'm best when I'm out there making plays for people and making my teammates better and make the game just easier for them.
This was a big win for us. We needed it. We struggled against this team all year. It's a tight race right now. We're not too far out. We have a shot, we just need to keep winning.
As a team we feel pretty good. (Next year) we should definitely make the playoffs. I won't guarantee it like some people do, but we feel that we should. We feel we should have made it this year.
My mother was a huge Steelers fan, so they were my team growing up.
It seems like teams want a guy who can get 10, 11, 12 assists. That's the kind of player I want to be. Sometimes that is more important than scoring 30 points a night.
I try to get control of the tempo, control of the flow, and get my teammates the ball in the best position to score.
We've just got to get some wins. We're still alive in this thing, the season's not over. We've still got a chance, whether it's a slim chance or not. If we keep winning and some teams lose, we're right there.
We've been trying to get there (.500). We've been battling every night to get there. We look around our league and teams are losing, it's the perfect time to make a run before the All-Star break.
I'm sure it will be a lot different, but we've just got to do the same thing as tonight. We've just got to keep fighting. We got down in the fourth quarter, then fought back and won.
I'm just real comfortable right now. I definitely picked up a lot of things in the second half of the season that will help me out for next season. It's just confidence. When you get confidence, good things happen.
I'm just honored to play for the Jazz and to play after John Stockton, to wear the same jersey he wore and be on the same floor he was on because he's one of the best players of all-time, one of the best point guards of all- time,
It's tough. It was a must-win for us, and we go out and don't really perform well. It's tough, frustrating ? especially knowing we can't make the playoffs right now.
We got some shots, they missed some shots, and we converted. We forced some turnovers and they weren't able to run as much. That was good for us.
We cut the lead and started coming back, but we just had some mental (lapses) on defense at the end and that cost us the game.
