play guy taught
As an actor in the theater you're taught that you never play a bad guy. You have to love who you are. You can't say, "Oh, I'm a bad guy." How do you play that?
girl guy choices
When you trust the director you want to trust his or her choices. I don't want to say, 'No, I don't like this girl or that guy," when the director really loves them. No, you want to go with what the director likes.
fun real guy
Sometimes when you're the good guy, you're sort of trapped. "Oh, he can't say that." And even when you're playing a real person like a Steven Biko, you're sort of stuck within those confines. So yeah, bad guys do have more fun.
guy needs need-love

sports

In any profession it gets to be a grind.
work
I'm not in the loop; I don't know any actors, really, just the ones I work with.
acting family
Family is life; acting is making a living.
honor
It's not only a pleasure, but an honor for me to be here tonight.
bothers effect heard home left stuff
I've heard (the rumors). Having babies, I've left home and all this... I'm a big boy. I can take it. But what bothers me about all of that stuff is the effect on the family.
money
I want to be responsible. If I give you $50 million, it's because I want my money to come back. Not because I like your haircut.
bit certain expect face hard people says sounds whose
It's hard because a lot of people expect me to be a certain way,'' says J.D., whose face is a bit fuller, yet sounds strikingly like his father.
