The thing I'm happiest about tonight is that we've got to learn that it's not always going to be a pretty game. Sometimes we're going to have to gut it out, play scrappy and get the bounce in front of the goal. And we did that tonight.

She works so hard at her game. We've talked about getting her more involved with goal scoring this year. We need somebody to step up with all the losses we've had.

We've got a little different dynamic on the team this year. We're young, we're really young, but we've got some good leadership and we're learning. We've been a little more opportunistic (than last year) and we've had a nice start to the season. I'm proud of my girls, I'm happy with them so far.

You're not going to get a ton of opportunities against a team this good, so the ones you get, you've got to try to put away. We didn't -- their goalie made a couple of good saves, and that's the way the game moves.
