I could have shared with all of the trustees that we had a deficit but (at that moment) we didn't have all of the information that was necessary. I wanted all the numbers to be straightened out before I told anyone. I wasn't hiding anything.

We ask that there be no job losses and, in order to make that easier, we asked the minister for a five-year recovery plan instead of the three-year plan.

We are terminating him without legal cause. If we were terminating him for cause I would tell you what that was.

Our plan is that there is no impact on students in the classroom. We are there for the children and this won't impact classroom instruction.
