The amount of human suffering that was encapsulated in that building was just phenomenal.
dragged either knew people walked
People either walked up to us or someone dragged them. If you didn't come to us we never knew about you.
Some we just wanted to give so much more, and we couldn't.
broken cuts happening imagine minor saw severe
We saw everything from minor cuts and scrapes, to severe lacerations, broken bones, and cardiac arrests. Everything you could imagine was happening in that dome.
kindness offered people
They offered us everything they had. The kindness from those people was phenomenal.
people took
The people we took would not have made it at the Superdome.
looked morning
That morning everything looked like it was alright.
