What I saw in Phil is a guy who is very confident in what he's doing. I saw him approaching (the Masters) mentally like I've always seen Tiger approach it.

There are obviously superstars that win all the time, and it looks like it comes easy to them. Maybe it looked like it came easy to me because I played great, but on the inside, it's always a battle. To overcome all of that and win a golf tournament, it's the ultimate reward for all those emotions that you go through.

I think it has been good for me to be here, ... I feel good. I haven't seen any bad effects from the medicine, other than I feel a little tired in the mornings. I think that's because I take the medicine at night.

We're finding that it's reflecting one-to-one the voters at the polls. It reflects the populace.

You always have to have the mind-set your opponent is going to make his putt, instead of getting upset or deflated by it.

We don't get an annual report in our locker. You go to the majors, they don't want you to know what's going on.
polling surprised voters
Voters will be surprised when they show up at their polling place and find they aren't on the rolls. There are a lot of things we don't feel comfortable with.

I was off the last couple of days with my iron shots and never got the ball really close. That was probably why I didn't win.
guess maybe sunglasses
I would never even think to do something like that, but I guess that's the new generation. It's a different attitude. There are other things. I'd take the sunglasses off once in a while, but maybe I'm old school.
golf knew says
You knew where she was the whole time. It was like a Tiger-type following. You know where he is. You know where she was on he golf course. That says a lot.
courses forward looked places played
When I got on Tour, this was one of the places I looked forward to playing. I've played (all of the courses here) before.
good hopefully learn nice nine separate today
It would've been nice to separate myself, but that's OK. I'm in good position, and I'll hopefully learn from my back nine today and do better tomorrow.
