watch
I didn't even watch it, I ran. That's probably all I've got right there.
action ball bat gotten hit looked might starting swing takes
By starting up the action with the hit-and-run and making him swing the bat and try to hit the ball to the right side, that might have gotten him going. It takes a little while, but his swing looked a lot better tonight.
almost freedom love matter pitch swing
I feel almost like a freedom. You get to swing at a pitch no matter where it is. I love it.
best easy gets hard together
He's one of the best closers in the game, ... It's very difficult, and it's big for us to try to keep him out of the game. If he gets in there, we've got to put together quality, hard at-bats. We can't give up anything easy for him.
came facing maybe pitching today until
I had been facing live pitching right up until I came here. So it wasn't as different for me today as maybe some other guys.
favorite love point time
I know that at some point in time it's going to be on. I love it, it's one of my favorite plays.
approach behind club game great single stuff
The great thing about this club is we are able to put that stuff behind us and approach every single game the same.
face hit hoping last pitch ran run
All I wanted to do was face him again. I was hoping he would hit me in the back with a fastball. I really was. Just so I could run down to first base, to show him that I could take it. We did face them in the loser's bracket. And he hit me, and I ran to first. And it was his last pitch of the game.
swinging tough
You can't go up there swinging if (the pitcher) has just made an out or he's had a tough inning before,
base thrilled walk
I'm thrilled that they can't potentially walk him. There's no base to put him.
