We had a bad week of practices, so it was important for us to give a good effort tonight. We aren't expected to contribute as much offensively as other lines, but we have to take advantage when we get the chances.

I think you have to play like that against a team like that. They are a physical team, and you have to rise to the occasion. Coach has been harping on it all year that when we compete and play physical, that's when we're productive. That's just the way we have to play to be a good team.

Good teams need everybody to contribute. Come playoff time, role players are a must. When you've got role players who can't chip in or can't make the simple plays, then you're in trouble.

It's one of those things if you do it long enough, you're not thinking about it. It's just about being committed. You have to be prepared to take a bump or two there.
