Breaking the record means I've accomplished something and won't be forgotten at Moss Point. I didn't think about record until mid-season when I had a shot at breaking it.

Scoring all of those points doesn't matter. All that mattered to me was winning the game. Our guards set me up all night and kept getting me in position to score.

We knew they were going to sag on me, so coach (Brain) Brooks told our guards to hit some shots.

This game had a great atmosphere. I'm glad we came out with a win. And I helped the team win.

This is just one of many good stretches for me. Coach told me to set the tone for the team. I think Jeremy (Stewart) and Cortez (Burnett) have done a good job of setting me up with good shots.
