If it all ended tomorrow, I would hope that people would write about captaining England 50 times, the 86 caps, winning the European Cup, six Premiership titles, two FA Cups, ... So many goals and games for United. And, hopefully, there is still a trophy with England and Madrid.
If he carries on doing what he's doing, creating chances for players and for himself, he's going to deserve those comparisons.
