benefit care football front guys high last level older perform position strides talking year
For us to make some strides as a football team, that position is critical. I don't care what level you're talking about, those guys up front have to perform -- and perform at a high level. We were inexperienced last year. That's scary. Now we're a year older and that will benefit us this year.
along football further good guys job magazines newspapers preventing reading team thinking
I didn't do a good enough job of getting the guys prepared. I must not have done a good enough job of preventing our guys from reading newspapers and magazines and thinking we were a little further along or a better football team than we are today.
bit blocking football
Now, we'll do a little bit of what football really is -- blocking and tackling. Turf burns, maybe.
catch football team tough
Do I like the excitement? Sure. It's getting our football team to catch up with the excitement, and that's tough to do.
college fans football react rival
No question, this is our big game. Our rival game. I know how our fans react and their fans react. That's what college football all about.
eliminate football preach win

along football further good guys job newspapers preventing reading team thinking
I must not have done a good enough job myself preventing our guys from reading the newspapers and magazines. We were thinking we were a little further along or a better football team than we showed.
address adversity dame deal fine football hit obviously played team teams week
Notre Dame was obviously a fine football team and we must have miscalculated them and that's my responsibility. We hit adversity and did not deal with it the way championship teams deal with adversity, so we'll address that. The way we played in week 1 will not be the way we play in week 11.
awful beat best continue football games players red turn tyler win won
If you turn the football over, you turn them over for touchdowns or turn them over in the red zone, you're not going to beat anyone, ... Tyler is our leader. He's one of the best players we have on this team. He's won an awful lot of games around here and he'll continue to win an awful lot of games.
closing door football nfl options ruling
I'm not ruling anything out, and my mind-set has not changed, it's the timing, ... I'm going to keep my football options open. NFL or college, I'm really not closing the door on anything.
committed football guys playing university
These guys are strong. These guys are committed to playing football at the University of Pittsburgh.
committed kids recruiting signing track trying weekend
We just had a big recruiting weekend and we have two more scheduled before signing day. We are right on track with where we need to be with all of the kids we have committed and the ones we are still trying to get.
defensive good offensive player
We signed, arguably, as good an offensive and defensive player as there was in New York.
behind fell force three turn
We fell behind early, but we were able to force three turnovers and turn them all into touchdowns.
