good playoffs
Everybody's healthy. Turco is going into the playoffs with no hiccups this year. So we feel good about where we're at.
against decent good halfway incentive playoffs pushed pushing ways win
I've thought about that before. If we had just been halfway decent against L.A., we probably would have pushed it a little farther. But this is good incentive for us right now. One of the ways to make the playoffs is to win your division, and that was something we set out to do right from the start. We've got to keep pushing in that direction.

cry easy game learn playoff playoffs successful whine win
We won't be successful in a playoff game like that. We'll take the win and learn from our mistakes. It's easy to whine and cry. But we'll whine and cry our way right out of the playoffs if we do that.
builds counter fans good hockey punch rivalry teams
I like it. Fans get to see two teams punch and counter punch a little bit., It builds up a rivalry and it makes for a very good hockey game.
since talked training
It's something we take very seriously. We've talked about that since the first day in training camp.
against period start third
I'm disappointed we didn't play well from the start and do what we did in the third period for the whole game. We'll have to play a lot better against Ottawa.
excited
I'm more excited than nervous. It's been a long wait.

I like what they're doing with the rules. The rules are taking players out of the game whose primary job is fighting and forcing teams to consider using players who can skate and play.
rules

caught chances effort good less score
It was less about effort and more about execution. We had some good chances and didn't score and it caught up with us.
indication issue received
It was never an issue for me. I have never received any indication that anything had changed.
chance early good line picking
It's way too early to be picking out line combinations. And there's still a good chance the two could play on the same line.
capable choice hard job somebody
It's very hard choices. It's not as if somebody is not capable or not getting the job done. But at the end of the day, it makes us a better team.
