We have always taken second or third. That was one of our goals going into the year. That, and win the regional and sectional were our three goals. We have accomplished the first one, and now we have the other two coming up.

We were just flat offensively. We weren't quick to the ball on loose balls in the first half. To me, we took a lot of shots that we kind of hoped would go in. We didn't really shoot them with confidence.

We're mad. Plain and simple, we're mad and we're disappointed with our effort tonight because this is a game we really should have won. There's a lot of ifs in life, but we're mad and disappointed and that's exactly the way I want them to be. I don't want them to feel good about a game where they only gave effort in the second half.
assertive kid quiet starting
I think it's Rachel starting to show what Rachel can do. Rachel's a very quiet kid who I think has always been very unselfish. We want her to be more assertive and now she's starting to be more assertive.

It was a good defensive game. We made sure our attitude was right this week and came out and competed.

That's a key for us. Not only the percentage but the number of free throws. We're being a little more aggressive going to the basket which is good, which is what we want.

That's all we practiced against, was against a zone, because they went man-to-man the first two games and I was pretty sure they were not going to do that again. From the naked eye, you would have thought we were surprised by that.

They are going to use fear to try and win the next election. This Bush crowd is dividing us and terrifying us, setting us against each other an making us afraid, and doing it so they can win elections.
