We held the storm several times. It's a great rivalry between us and Center Grove. I have to say that we felt like the last time in the county tournament, they didn't beat us, we beat ourselves. That was a little extra motivation for us.

A lot of it had to do with that fourth at-bat (Sunday) when he got a walk, ... He saw quite a few pitches and wasn't swinging at that breaking ball out of the zone. That's the biggest thing with him. He started to make those adjustments at the start of the second half. He slipped a little bit, but now he's picking it up. This guy's got so much talent you've got to believe the sky's the limit.

Adrian runs the offense. He penetrates. He sees the floor as well as anybody. He can pull up and hit a jump shot, and defensively he can really get after somebody.

Other than not making the playoffs, things couldn't have gone any better. To go through the struggles we did in the first half and being able to persevere and come back and be in the mix and taking that thing all the way down to the wire was great.

He made tremendous strides and I think a lot of it had to do with that little bit of failure he experienced after going 4-0 (to start the season). I think he got humbled within that time until he got his first win again. I think that's what got him going and carried him over. When he took the mound, you know we were going to get a win behind him.

Look at what he did last year. He deserves a chance to play at the Triple-A level. But you never know. It depends on that domino effect. I?d love to have him back.
