I was actually pleasantly surprised with how well we did (in cold, wet conditions).

Sometimes you've got to step up and compete and that's what we did today. A lot of freshmen stepped up.
compete confidence distances hurdles knowing league next year
We were well-rounded, all the way from the hurdles to the distances to the throws. It is a big-time confidence booster going into that (new) league next year knowing we can compete in that league.
