Some of that hurt in the locker room is knowing we had chances to win the game and we just didn't take it. Defensively, wow! I thought the girls were outstanding. That was championship defense we played. For the most part, we made them work for every one of their points.

Offensively, we couldn't get going. We took two more 3-pointers than 2-pointers in the first half. They did a good job of plugging up the middle. But when you hold a team to 19 points, you can afford a poor shooting night.

We came out of the locker room and extended the lead. They didn't have an answer for Stevens. Then Lockhart, their big inside player, got into foul trouble and that opened up the middle of the court.

We've got to play Carlisle like we've got nothing to lose. It's a really big game for us. We have to have confidence and not be afraid.

Lowery had her best game of the year. She can shoot. The team needed her tonight and she responded.

We've got to get our confidence back up and win two games in the regional tournament.

It was really a game of spurts tonight. We played well at times and had some rough spots.
