address available best criteria equal football next pick player players value
We're going to pick the best available player in the draft. If there's two players of equal value and talent, the next criteria is let's address our need as a football team.
absolutely associated best football fought love team
We persevered. We fought back. I absolutely love these guys. This is the best football team I've ever been associated with.
acquired deserves individual since trying
Kwame has been a first-class individual since we acquired him and this is just my way of trying to accommodate him, because I think he deserves to play.
amazing answer asked convinced days expect guy line lined question three work
I said (to the other coaches), 'There's no way a guy can come in here on three days work and be able to line up and do the things that we expect our tailback to do,' but he had an amazing three days. Every question I asked him he had an answer for. He convinced me and we lined him up out there and let him go.
air almost build effective hopefully running ultimately
I would say for the most part we haven't had anything like that in almost two years. That's as effective as you're going to get of a running game. Hopefully we can build off of it. I just know one thing: If we can get it going it will make us so much more effective through the air and ultimately that's what we want to do.
determine practice speed status ultimately
We will see if we can get him up to speed and practice will ultimately determine (his status for Sunday).
ahead intense week
We have an intense week ahead of us.
glad hurt obviously
I'm glad (Maurer) didn't get hurt because obviously it would have hurt (our team).
altered draft line mind offensive quality
They were able to solidify their offensive line by getting two established quality Canadians. The mind set for them going into the draft may be altered a little bit.
bit
What I've been doing, I'm now going to be doing a little bit more of.
clearly easier second transition year
We think that transition should be easier the second year around. We're clearly up for the challenge.
easier player time
This just makes it a little easier and you don't have to go through a player to get a time out.
pick today worry year
Do you pick right now and worry about today or do you look a year down the line?
along anybody consider looking opportunity
You're always looking for an edge. When you take a look at the West, which is pretty competitive I think, anybody can come out of the West, and an opportunity like this comes along you need to consider it.
