It is a great art to laugh at your own misfortune
elephant enemy regard size though
Though your enemy is the size of an ant, regard him as an elephant
bad heel toe turned wife wishes
A bad wife wishes her husband's heel turned homewards, and not his toe
apples bad good tree yield
A bad tree does not yield good apples
bad eats good horse
A bad horse eats as much as a good one
bad cut hair shame
A bad hair cut is two people's shame
grunt pigs
Young pigs grunt as as old pigs grunted before them
barks dog honest man worse
An honest man is not the worse because a dog barks at him
act fear stand valley
Act in the valley so that you need not fear those who stand on the hill.
fool men remains silent
A fool is like all other men as long as he remains silent
bad child cries fine pig
Give to a pig when it grunts and a child when it cries , and you will have a fine pig and a bad child
beard goats preach
If the beard were all, goats could preach
fool help himself
He who would make a fool of himself will find many to help him
far leap run
He who would leap far must first take a long run
