fun knew lose rest tried
We tried today, no question. We knew we were in the quarter-finals with not much rest between games, but it's not fun to lose any game.
bit funk jump seem tonight
They seem to be in a little bit of a funk right now, ... They didn't seem to have a lot of jump tonight and we're going really well.
fun hard knew lose ready time tonight tried
We tried hard today, there's no question. We knew there's not a lot of time between tonight and tomorrow. It's not fun to lose anytime, but we have to be ready for tomorrow.
bit energy funk throughout top
I think we had more energy than them throughout the night, ... I think they're in a bit of a funk now. But I think once they get going, they're going to be one of the top teams.
centre certainly desire fair fun looking pressure takes team watch
He's going to play a big part on this team this year. I don't think it's fair to put too much pressure on him but we're looking for him to probably be a No. 1 centre and I think he has what it takes to do it and he certainly has the desire so it's going to be fun to watch him this year.
brings energy enjoys fun guy loves practicing
He loves the game. He loves practicing and he's a fun guy to be around. He brings a lot of energy when he comes to the rink. You can see that he enjoys it.
agreement bargaining believe collective everybody good job man move support sure ted wants
I'm sure everybody is going to support Ted Saskin because he is the right man for the job. He did a good job for us in the collective bargaining agreement negotiations and I believe everybody wants to move forward.
biggest felt game
The biggest thing we had in this game was the passion. From the beginning, we wanted this game, and the Czechs felt that.
laid
(St. Louis) just laid down. (But) I shouldn't have done it.
finish good job somebody step three time year
I'm going to finish out this year and that will be good for me. It's time for somebody else to step in and do the job ... I've done it for three years. I'm going to step aside,
business glad last learned locked move nobody proud side three time tough work year
I learned a lot in the last three years ... especially about the business side of hockey. I'm proud of the work I've done and I was glad to be involved. But I just think it's time for me to move on. This was a tough three years ... especially last year because nobody wanted to be locked out.
happy
I'm happy it was Fisher, ... because he's pretty good-looking.
cup dream experience great nice since stanley winning won
It was a great experience and it was the first big thing I'd won since juniors. But I dream of winning the Stanley Cup in Ottawa. And that's what I was thinking. It was nice to win at home, but it wasn't the one I want.
It was pretty cool. It was nothing really, just a little jarring.
